HLFMN continue his sonic exploration driving an innovative and personal research to the Urban Music world, picking up elements from a wide range of underground cultural influences and revisiting them with his personal ability to create something new and very recognizable.
HLFMN new album called "FiRE" can't be really labelled in a specific genre due to his urge to tell diverse stories and mixed emotions, that lead him to choose a different style to each song, from classic Hip Hop to Grime Rap, passing through Trip-Hop, Uk-Garage, IDM and Future Bass where, unlike previous works, often appear MC’s verses and rhymes, properly altered to sound childish or alien; his passion for traditional and exotic music has remained intact, as you can hear all along this new LP, with a state-of-the-art sampling of tibetan, indonesian and japanese typical instruments.
"My main goal has always been to mix old traditional instruments with the current electronic music trends, to create a different and personal Dance music style; to build this album i've sampled different instruments like bamboo-based gamelan rindik and jegog, plucked instruments like greek lyre and kora and african/arabic percussions . I like to instill a ritualistic vibration in each composition to create an energetic yet meditative mood in the listener, a sacred conversation between present and past."

"This album is the result of a long period spent in solitude, meditating and practicing the ancient art of Qi Gong;
musically speaking I followed the impulse to perfect the formula that I had set in my first two albums, where four-on-the-floor techno/house beats were mixing with instruments and sonorities from ancient oriental traditions,

My goal was and remains to combine an ancestral and in some ways Sacred past, with the festive and danceable attitude of dancefloor electronic music."
